Sales Manager

Manchester City Centre

£30k - £55k OTE

Mon-Fri: 9-5

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead their sales team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales processes, managing and motivating sales executives, and achieving sales targets. This role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building and maintaining relationships with clients, coaching and mentoring team members, and driving performance to exceed targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement processes to achieve sales targets.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales executives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance and achieve individual and team goals.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills required to succeed in their roles.
  • Set sales targets, monitor performance against targets, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure goals are met/exceeded.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, and collaborate with other departments such as marketing and customer service to support sales efforts.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and key metrics to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales management, with a minimum of 2 years management experience.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and colleagues.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to develop and execute sales processes that drive revenue growth.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data  to inform decision-making.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office suite.
