Business Development Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join their team. The BDM will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with potential clients, and closing sales to achieve revenue targets. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong understanding of sales techniques, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and other lead generation methods.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of products and services.
- Negotiate terms and close sales to achieve revenue targets and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required.
- Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and positive attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Willingness to travel as required.
